Principal's Message
Dear Charles Peck School Community,
I am honored to serve as the interim principal of Charles Peck School. Together, we will continue to foster a positive and welcoming environment where every student feels safe, valued, and inspired to succeed.
I encourage families to review the Welcome Packet that was sent home at the start of the year—or when your child starts at any point within the school year. It contains important information such as class placement and enrollment, drop-off and pick-up procedures, the district’s communication tool TalkingPoints, parent portal access, and our school donation list.
Positive communication is essential for building strong relationships among students, families, and staff. I am dedicated to maintaining open and respectful dialogue to support our shared goals.
A little about me: I earned my BA in English from UC Davis and my Master’s degree in School Administration from California State University, Stanislaus. I have taught grades 3 through 8 in multiple subjects including math, science, and English. My experience as a teacher and vice principal has reinforced my belief in student engagement and strong classroom management. I am passionate about celebrating every student and making learning both meaningful and enjoyable.
I look forward to working with you to make this a successful and inspiring school year. Thank you for welcoming me to the Charles Peck family!
Warm regards,
Pirkko E. Amaral-Alexander
