Arrival/Dismissal Procedures

At Charles Peck, student safety is our top priority. Thank you for partnering with us by following our arrival and dismissal procedures to help keep every Panther safe.

Important:

Arrival: The curb loading zone is OPEN for family drop-off.
Dismissal: The curb loading zone is CLOSED to general student pick-up. During dismissal, the curb is reserved for school buses, disabled parking permit holders, and marked daycare vehicles.

Parking Lot Procedures

Arrival Procedures

Arrival
(8:20–8:55 AM • Monday–Friday)

Student supervision begins at 8:20 AM. Please do not drop students off before this time.

Buses & ILS Student Drop-Off

● Use the curb loading zone along the Kindergarten fence under the bus awning.

Family Drop-Off

● Quick curb drop-offs only. Pull forward before unloading. If leaving your vehicle, please park in an unmarked parking space or on the street.

Dismissal Procedures

Important: The curb loading zone is open for family drop-off during arrival but CLOSED to general student pick-up during dismissal.

Dismissal Times

● TK & Kindergarten: 12:15 PM (Mon–Fri)

● Grades 1–5: 3:30 PM (Mon, Tue, Wed & Fri); 2:05 PM (Thu)

Curb Loading Zone (Authorized Vehicles Only)

● School buses

● ILS student pick-ups

● Vehicles displaying a disabled parking placard or license plate

● Marked daycare vehicles

All Other Families

● Park in an unmarked parking space or on the street, then walk to your student's pick-up location.
