Volunteer
Charles Peck and the San Juan Unified School District values and encourages the assistance of parents/guardians and other members of the community in sharing their special knowledge and abilities with our students in roles as classroom assistants, art docents, reading tutors and in other areas. The district also welcomes volunteer improvement projects (self-help projects) that enhance the classroom or school, such as beautification projects, painting and gardening. Use of volunteers in services to the school district must comply with laws, regulations and policies.

Parent Teacher Committee (PTC)
We currently have a dedicated Parent-Teacher Committee that plays a crucial role in planning and organizing school events such as our fall Harvest Festival and the energetic Move-a-Thon. We believe that formalizing a Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) or Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) will help us create an even more supportive and inclusive atmosphere within our school community.
Get Involved!
We invite you to be a part of this exciting initiative and contribute to the growth and enrichment of Charles Peck Elementary. Whether you are a seasoned PTA/PTO member or a newcomer eager to get involved, there are various ways you can make a positive impact.
If you would like more information on how to participate, please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's classroom teacher for guidance or contact our Parent-Teacher Committee (PTC) [charlespecksocial@sanjuan.edu]. We would love to share information on upcoming meetings, events, and opportunities to get involved.
Your involvement, ideas, and enthusiasm are essential to the success of our PTA/PTO and the overall well-being of our school. By working together, we can create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where every child at Charles Peck Elementary can thrive.
We look forward to collaborating with you to make Charles Peck Elementary an even better place for our students, families, and staff. Together, we can achieve great things.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community.
